Late Mid-Century Phosphorescent Bulb Sculpture by Pierre Giraudon, 1970s

Stunningly rare resin/acrylic sculptures designed by Pierre Giraudon. Named the model “NEON”, constructed and designed in a small studio by Giraudon in Paris, France, 1970.

This incredible sculpture not only looks incredible decorative in light but it is designed to glow in the dark! A wonderful example of late mid century modern French architectural sculpture.

Depth – 8cm. Very good condition, the piece is immensely well preserved, the glow in the dark bulb works perfectly, there is some signs of ageing such as scratching as would be expected of acrylic of 50 years of age. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
