Created by Delphin Massier (1836-1907) in the town of Vallauris, where his family had lived for generations, these pieces show an exuberance and a passion for the local flora and fauna. Both columns decorated with herons This set of columns were such a successful model that in Massier’s posthumous product catalogue of 1908 they are offered in various sizes. Size:115 cm high and 55 cm diameter.Made in enameled ceramic. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,

Chinese Chippendale style tall rosewood pedestal stand, 20th century.

Magnificent large carved pedestal with fretwork gallery on a shaped top and three scrolled legs with openwork. Sculpted legs have a tiered appearance as they meet the base with a finial and double scrolls on each leg. It has deep color with a beautiful sheen and is sturdy with good weight. A stately and luxurious stand with exceptional details and craftsmanship.
