Smoke cloud chandelier is an oil lamp that floats mid space, cap-
Turing the trace of fire from a time where it was a source of light in the home.
Made out of aluminum sheets the smoke cloud chandelier
have been hammer formed to provide a vessel for its lamp oil.
Through the reflection of the flame, the aluminum comes to life,
radiating its light back into the space.
The smoke cloud chandelier is an ode to the fire and the lively
conversations that grew around it.

Christian Hammer Juhl (DK) and Jade
Chan (SG) are a design duo educated at the
Design Academy Eindhoven, Netherlands
and currently based in Copenhagen,
Denmark.

Christian + Jade celebrates the influence
that our products can have on our lifestyle
by designing everyday objects to encourage
sensible and valuable interactions. Working
out of the intention to rethink our living
environment, the duo manifest works that
spans between a variety of material and
techniques, which comes together in a
strong visual language and intent.
The duo’s process relies on researching and
understanding societal movements and

Functionally, it is perfect on that cold evening, but also serves as an amazing art display the remainder of the year. Features a solid stock steel rack that can be easily removed for cleaning fire debris and a handy poker. In addition, the chiminea is designed to hold standard split logs, not just the tiny bagged wood. Pictured with hand truck and sling chair by William Katavolos for scale. Follow local laws and common sense when it comes to starting a fire. Rusted finish varies. Also available in waxed raw steel that will patina to a rust finish over time.
