Acanthus leaf and escargot motifs are carved into the legs. Doors open opposite each other to reveal a modicum of storage, and a convenient drawer adds to that aspect. Mahogany Nightstand by Baker. Store item #381. It features storage compartment above dovetailed drawer.

This is a pair of traditional mahogany nightstands by Leighton Hall. Their design was inspired by 1800’s casegoods. They feature straight grain drawer fronts, sides and tops. The drawers are dovetailed and have antique brass pulls. The color is medium brown mahogany with a stain sheen. They have been used as showroom samples for approx six months and are in very good condition. See ‘Condition Notes” for details. They retail new for $2,249 each ($4,498 of the pair).

When you purchase a piece we carefully clean and prepare it for shipping. If during re-inspection we discover a door or drawer isn’t functioning properly, find watermarks and visible scratches with color loss (usually on the top surface) or veneer chips, our Master Restoration Team carefully restores the surfaces using tried and true techniques with the original colors and finishes used by the manufacturer (the same way it was made) so you get an original Mid Century Modern piece without the disappointment of bad refinishing or undisclosed hidden problems.

We take our photos in a controlled lighting studio to show as much detail as possible. We do not Photoshop out blemishes. In most cases, the photos were taken before any work was done to improve the piece, therefore the piece you get is often even better looking than it was in the photos. In some situations when we get the same piece back in stock that we’ve had before, we will use photos from a previous shoot. In these situations, the piece you get will be in the same (or better) condition than the photos.

A charming pair of mid-century neoclassical brass & glass demi-lune Tables C1950s attributed to Maison Baguès. Each table stands on three fluted legs with tapered feet, a curved stretcher reflects the shape of the half-moon glass top, which is buttoned through and encased in a decorative brass trim. Perfect tables for either end of a sofa, at the side of an armchair, or even as nightstands in a bedroom. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
