There is nothing like a vintage shade when you are looking to add a little warmth, depth, and texture to a room design. This large empire style shade is one of two identical shades in my shop acquired from the same household. It features a soft and textured charcoal fabric exterior with decorative trim and a hard shell interior. This is a gorgeous shade!

Diameter of this shade measures approximately 7” (top) and 22” (bottom). Height measures 12”. Slant height measures 14”.

Tall Swedish Red Glass Table Lamp by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors, 1960s

Tall Carl Fagerlund table lamp with oval base made of dark red and clear glass.
It´s model RD 1566 made by the Swedish glass manufacturer Orrefors in the 1970s.
The lamp comes with a new lampshade designed in Denmark.
It´s made of off white fabric with structure.

The height of the glass base is 30 cm.
The total height with socket and shade is 60 cm.

Incised sign. on the bottom: Orrefors + model MD 1566. This piece has an attribution mark,
