1910’s bronze bookends by Armor Bronze featuring a seated reading monk .
These bookends are in red and bronze with white book pages.
The company we know as Armor Bronze started as The National Metalizing Company. While some folks seem to think that the company was in business as far back as 1880, our research leads us to believe 1910 is closer to the actual founding date. Bronze was then electro formed onto the plaster mold. This was extremely innovative in the 1920’s. Unfortunately, it was also very costly for labor and materials. Some bookends could take as long as three days to be completed. They created some of the most detailed and sought after bookends we have today.
They are in good antique condition- normal wear sign due to age on the finish- both has some loss to it’s surface color which is very normal compare to their age.
Measurement: 7.5” H x 4” W x 4” D / each.
It’s very heavy, more than 7 pound the pair.

Although on some screens the fabric shows “whitish” there is no white. It is definately tone on tone.

Reverse stands out with a soft velvet suede in silver grey color, matching perfectly with the ensemble.
A lovely dark grey shinny silk twist trim matching with the fabric embellished this design with a special touch. The corners of this square design are round. I put my labor at the junction of the cord that the pipping looks like a continuous visual line (no end) on the outside of the seam and instead do NOT see TWO LINES (two ends).
Easy removal and perfect termination with a matching grey ZIPPER, sewn at the bottom.
Professionally finished for durability: interior seams are over locked.

This pillow cover is new from interior designer Kelly Wearstler’s company, without tags. It’s a nice, heavy, durable fabric with a black snake print. This measures roughly 20 x 20.
