Here is a stunning set of SIX dining chairs in the Flemish design with French/Spanish inspiration. The bases of the chairs are made from solid wood with carved details on the legs and stretcher, but most notably above the backrest. The chairs are upholstered in a lively, floral tapestry with nailhead trim. Please note that three of the backrests of the chairs are in a different textile. I personally love this detail as it gives the chairs a bit more interest! The striped fabric coordinates beautifully with the tapestry fabric. The chairs are comfortable and sturdy. There is no need to reupholster. Just some light wear about the corners/edges of the seats. One of the carved wood details at the top appears to have been repaired – see last photo.

Here is an amazing set of SIX mid-century modern dining chairs that have beautifully rounded backs and lovely upholstery. I believe the chairs are made of walnut, as they are in a wonderful, walnut finish. The frames are solid wood. The chairs are upholstered in a striped velvet that is a deep purple, eggplant. The upholstery really looks great for its age. Some light wear and a bit of fading, but no rips, stains, etc. You can definitely use these chairs as is and they will look great.
