Very charming. The knife that accompanies the cutting board is carved to simulate a sheaf of wheat. With a good sharpening, this is a very usable knife. The measurements below are for the breadboard. The knife is 12″ long.

The influence of Danish design is very clear, yet these are quintessentially midcentury British in their trim, measured and practical style.

‘Gerald Benney CBE (21 April 1930 – 26 June 2008) was a British silver and goldsmith who along with David Mellor and Robert Welch popularized stainless steel designs in post-war British homes’.

A little wear. In very good condition overall. Box also in good condition, with a torn corner and a neatly taped corner – very tidy.

Measures: Fork 175mm x 30mm
Knife 195mm x 20mm
