The chairs are constructed using a sturdy interlocking frame of mortise and tenon joints, with two slats on each side. The seats are gently curved and angled for enhanced ergonomics, while the slightly curved and angled backrests are adorned with a geometric carving of four small inverted pyramids.

The table features a visible interlocking structure that highlights the wood’s natural beauty and strength. The design draws inspiration from historical forms, resembling the sturdy, timeless tables found in monasteries or ancient Roman settings. Legs and supports showcase precision-cut joints and wooden dowels, eschewing metal fasteners entirely. This meticulous interlocking method not only enhances durability but also underscores the traditional craftsmanship central to Rivadossi’s philosophy. The dining table is fully restored in our workshop, it has been carefully brought back to its original glory, ensuring it continues to serve as a functional and aesthetic centerpiece in any dining room.
