These handsome nesting tables have nicely turned legs and shaped stretchers. They fit into one another for compact and versatile uses. These little tables are well suited for a variety of settings.

This set of three tables is by the British manufacturer G-Plan Furniture, from their “Astro” line. The larger table had a perfect amount of room for the smaller tables to nest perfectly underneath. The legs have graceful curves and the tops have beautiful teak and curved edges. All three have been professionally restored.

Great set of 2 side or coffee tables which can be used as “nesting” tables (you can put the smaller one over the larger one). Designed by renown designer Marcel Breuer in the 1920s. Like his Wassily and Cesca chairs, Marcel Breuer’s Laccio Tables are critical to the story of 20th-century design. Breuer’s use of tubular steel to define lines in space—beautifully exhibited in these simple nesting tables—revolutionized furniture construction and inspired many subsequent generations of designers.

The tables have a chromed tubular steel loop frame with a black laminated MDF top.

The licence has passed from Thonet to Gavina (Italy) and now rests with Knoll. These tables are unmarked and from a more recent date, 70/80s.
