Mid-century Stiffel lampshade slightly flared empire style lampshade in a stiff plisse manner with rounded flutes. The flouncy columns remind us of the Elizabethan era ruffled collar that might have been worn in the royal court. (see reference photo.)

It has a hard shell inside and also a hard shell lining on the outer flutes that are then covered in the light peach toned textile. The calming neutral tone of blush melon colored beige and soft rounded lines compliment a wide range of styles in many motifs. It is also a very difficult to find lampshade and it has limited distribution, so the market is far from being oversaturated with this quintessential Hollywood Regency style shade. This durable Stiffel lampshade has many more years of viability remaining (Circa 1980). It is in terrific condition.
