1960s Mid Century Modern Teak Wastebasket by Servex of Sweden

This large midcentury modern teak wastebasket was designed by Martin Aberg for Servex of Sweden. It has lovely wood grain. It can be used in any room with or without midcentury modern furniture, whether it is a living room, bedroom or office. I don’t know the actual production date, however it may have been made in the 1950s or 1960s. It reminds me of furniture featured on “Mad Men.”

The design is a tapered cylindrical shape. It has been lovingly used and has marks consistent with age and use. There is one area of missing veneer on the inside. There are some color variations, which are fine as is, or teak oil or stain can be applied, if desired. I do my best to point out condition issue with pictures. Please refer to the pictures.

The wastebasket is approximately 13” high, approximately 10” across the top and approximately 8” across the bottom.
