Carved Marble Kwan-Yin Statue with child and foo dog ca 1977 from main land China. Hard to find a Kwan-Yin statue with both child and foo dog its a fantastic piece. This statue would look great in any garden or near any pool a perfect focal point. It has been standing under a walnut tree for the last 35 years which is why the back side is so dark, it has never been cleaned. I personal think she looks great the way she is with a natural patina from all the years under the walnut tree. She’s in good condition for her age but she does have a piece missing from her hand see in photos below. I would estimate the weight between 450-650 lbs she is bigger than she looks.
