Set 22 antique 19th century fine leather bindings – Works of Washington Irving. Published by G. P. Putnam 115 Nassau Street, New York City during the Civil War era in the 1860’s. Wonderful brown leather spines with gilt titles on red leather. Marbled end papers. Books measure 7 7/8″ tall x 5 3/4″ x 1 3/8″ thick. The run of 22 volumes occupies 30 1/2″ of shelf space. Good condition with expected wear. A handsome set.
