This set of 4 hand painted French Faience – Veuve Perrin pottery bowls are just lovely. Each bowl has a different hand painted floral design – accented with a scalloped edge and a cranberry colored – red painted line.
The diameter is 9.25″ with a height of 1.25″. Each are hand signed on the back aspect – “VP Made in France”.
Veuve Perrin used a series of successive firings called the petit feu technique of decorating – that renderec these beautiful and delicate – naturalistic polychrome designs.
