This authentic floor is composed of richly decorated cement tiles from a church. The dynamic composition dated from the 19th century is characterized by red, black and white patterns, forming an important ensemble that is both geometric and organic. Bands of naive flowers on a red background compartmentalize two distinct friezes, creating an ornamental pavement. The red gothic rosette motifs surrounded by black circles dialogue with the cross-arched motifs on a dark red background, which are set off by the four bird silhouettes. The surrounding black circles are connected in fours by a flower motif, accentuating the dense and detailed look of the authentic paving. The dimensions of the tiles are 25 x 25 cm, for a total surface of about 4 square meters.
