Stillife
Stillife is not to redesign old Japanese folk tools but also to have a dialogue with the tools. Morphing “old folk tools” into a “more attractive still life” by giving it a modern interpretation. “Tsukumo God” which we Japanese have an IDEA that a tool will be given a life when it passes over 100 years old, attracts people and invokes creativity. I try to inspire people to think about
the meaning of sustainability and consumption society through my collection of Stillife.
