Early 20th century Folk Art whirligig model
We are proud to offer charming one-off example of an early 20th century Folk Art whirligig model. This example would likely have been mounted to a post and spent most of its life out in the open, animated by the wind. The characters of an old farmer and his wife rowing back and forth still works, if abit temperamental. The propeller is missing however this does not detract from its simple charm and decorative appeal. This example is handcrafted from wood, still in its original condition and untouched in form.
