An Edwardian mahogany blanket press of rectangular form in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. The shaped and moulded top raised over two doors with shaped brass hinges, escutcheon and reeded closing slip opening to reveal shelved interior, supported over frieze with two drawers and brass lion head ring pulls above ornately carved apron of centred C-scrolls flanked with trailing acanthus leaves and foliate, all carved in high relief against punched ground, supported on cabriole leg with acanthus motif on knee terminating on ball and claw foot.
