English Hepplewhite lowboy is of the period with a top that has a beautiful mahogany grain and color. The top edge is inlaid with a band of ebony and boxwood. Below is a single long drawer over two square drawers at each end. The drawers are banded with boxwood and have antique brass oval pulls ( not original ) . The concave arched apron features boxwood inlay and convex inlaid fans in the upper corners. The legs, typical of Hepplewhite style, are nicely tapered.
