Superb set of ‘Fisheaters’, i.e. Six knives and six forks designed by Gerald Benney, in original box. The influence of Danish design is very clear, yet these are quintessentially midcentury British in their trim, measured and practical style.
‘Gerald Benney CBE (21 April 1930 – 26 June 2008) was a British silver and goldsmith who along with David Mellor and Robert Welch popularized stainless steel designs in post-war British homes’.
A little wear. In very good condition overall. Box also in good condition, with a torn corner and a neatly taped corner – very tidy.
