A fabulous modernist silver plated bar or cocktail jug; about as stylish as they get. Made even more interesting as this example was used during the 1963 Canada Cup at the grand private gold club of Western Paris, Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche.
The year of 1963 was when the World Championship was held at this stylish French club, at the time known as the Canada cup and that year was won by The American team of Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer.
Style and interest, what could be better to adorn the most stylish of bars. Fully marked on the underside for the famous Parisian silversmith, orfevrerie christofle for it’s Gallia range and designed by Lion Sabattini.
Excellent condition having just returned from our silversmith’s workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it’s former glory. Spanning approximately 7″ to include the handle x 4″ x 8″ tall.
