Scully & Scully Elm and Yew Chest/Secretary

Design Plus Gallery presents an Elm and Yew Chest from Scully & Scully. A sensational piece that on the outside resembles a lingerie chest. The false front of the chest is in the center and pulls down to reveal an inner cabinet, writing area. There are placements to house notes, letters and utenciils. The remaining outer portion of the chest can be used to store papers and such, or used in a bedroom for smaller wardrobe items, as it is presented. It has been hand-assembled and finished in England of burl elm banded in burl yew with tulipwood and solid brass hardware. Rich antique finish was also finely polished to maintain its natural glow. The inner drop leaf has a gold-tooled leather top for ease of writing. Is in good condition for its age + use.
