In 1972, Robert Marcius partnered with Gene Jonson, forming Jonson and Marcius, and moved their business to Manhattan. Throughout the 1970’s and early 80’s, they supplied designers such as Karl Springer and retailers, such as Lorin Marsh, Cartier, and Tiffany with their opulent accessories, furniture and sculptures.
