Stunning framed taxidermy alligator with great coloring and very well preserved details. Hues of the scales range from a beige color on the outer edge and become speckled with tan and dark brown once you get to the rougher parts of the scales and finish on the middle of the back in a dark grey and black color. The mouth is mounted in an open position giving this piece depth and personality jumping off the frame 7 inches. Perfect teeth with no cracks as well as all four hands intact. Scales still retain their glossy finish. Newly mounted on a black linen shadow box, with black frame. Very cool piece of art.
