Vintage Drapers Workbench

This an outstanding piece. It is made from solid wood and is heavy and as an old shop counter is suitable to use as a stand alone piece in the middle of a room, offering it up as a sideboard, work bench, kitchen island or as designed, as a shop counter. This fabulous Drapers Table was used in a fabric shop to lay out the fabric ahead of measuring and cutting and the middle drawer still has the beautiful bowls in which the cash pieces were stored. with wonderful solid and beautifully turned legs. Solid and strong. A fabulous find.
