The Base Has a Hand Engraved Presentation That Reads HIGH PEN BREEDS U.S. STANDARD EGG LAYING CONTEST – 1933-1934 – WON BY LORD BROTHERS – KEEZAR FALLS MAINE – SCORE 2851 EGGS – 3001 POINTS – POULTRY TRIBUNE MOUNT MORRIS ILLINOIS. The Black Base is Made Out of Genuine Bakelite. The Top is Mounted with a Figurative Eagle – Finial. It is in Very Good Overall Original Condition and Displays Greatly!. It is Tarnished in Some Areas and Has Some Aged & Weathered Metal Lacquer Surfaces Giving it a Wonderful Authentic Old Look that Cannot be Duplicated.
