\n “Dispersio”, Julio Sendino, 2023 – Contemporary Art<\/p>\n

Spectacular oil on canvas entitled Dispersio, a work by Julio Sendino, an artist from Valladolid whose training in drawing and painting has allowed him to develop his artistic work through various forms of expression, playing with the figurative and the abstract. <\/p>\n

This painting captures movement and transformation through abstract geometric forms that seem to radiate from a central core, creating a sense of expansion and dispersion. It is an unfolding of decomposed forms in a play of fragments scattered and dispersed on a plane. The use of Persian yellow pigment accentuates the intensity of the warm colors, bringing energy and vivacity and inviting the viewer to contemplate the dynamics of change and the interconnectedness of the elements. <\/p>\n

Geometric abstraction is one of the currents of abstract art, which emerged around the 1920s and is based on the use of simple geometric shapes, which are combined in subjective compositions. It is also an exaltation of two-dimensionality and a criticism of the effort of the artists of the previous movements to represent a reality in three dimensions. Wassily Kandinsky is the most recognized and influential artist, followed by Malevich, Mondrian.<\/p>\n
