The first in our line of the “PALIMPSEST” cushion series. A pair of ancient Egyptian Tesem dogs from the tomb of Mereruka in Saqqara, taking a stroll under the rays of the Amarna Atun.<\/p>\n

The second design depicts the Buchis bull from the Stela of Ptolemy I, walking under the Amarna Atun.<\/p>\n

The third and last design of the “PALIMPSEST” cushion series shows a group of mauve donkeys from the tomb of the Sheshmnferin Giza,toiling under the Amarna Atun.<\/p>\n

Each design is offered in a limited edition of 20.<\/p>\n

All cushions are silkscreened on traditional Egyptian mid-century chintz. Designed by Hassan Abouseda for HAF.<\/p>\n

Each design can be ordered separately in whatever available quantity.<\/p>\n

They can be purchased individually in whatever quantity. <\/p>\n

HAF is a boutique design studio in Cairo – Egypt showcasing designs by co-founder Hassan Abouseda, an architect and interior designer. While the aesthetic is modern in spirit, it is also days homage to classical Egyptian design and traditional Egyptian craftsmanship and materials.<\/span><\/p>\n
