Entitled ’16 Animali’ (16 Animals).<\/p>\n

Model no. 3015 D.<\/p>\n

Consisting of 16 form-cut stylized animals made from expandable resin. <\/p>\n

Enzo Mari is one of the 20th Century’s most storied Italian designers. His iconic Modernist puzzle ’16 Animali’ was conceived of the thought experiment of a single continuous cut. The editions from the late 50’s were produced in that manner. This version from 1972 is produced in expandable resin. This became the first in a series of many puzzles Mari would go on to produce. Danese released a limited run of these puzzles in the early 2000’s.<\/p>\n

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.<\/p>\n

Condition Details:
There is fritting and minor chipping to the edges of the figures here and there. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.<\/p>\n

Each of the corners of both top & bottom of the box have been retaped in the past.<\/p>\n
