it should be noted that the carved and lacquered wooden frame is original and coeval, 1930s.<\/p>\n

it is a painting on canvas, still life, from the early 1900s, representing carnations in a decorated ceramic vase.<\/p>\n

the oil on canvas painting dates back to the twentieth century and it takes part of bisgart collection of antique<\/p>\n

paintings of the 20th century. This floral oil painting is signed p. Dolzan, italian painter and dated 1933.<\/p>\n

primo dolzan (xix-xx) is an italian painter born in tezze sul brenta in veneto.<\/p>\n

landscape and still life painter. He exhibited at the salon of artists in paris between 1933 and 1935.<\/p>\n

behind the frame there is a label with the date 1933 written on it.<\/p>\n

the frame and the painting are carefully and professionally restored.<\/p>\n
