French 18th Century Painted Buffet

A very striking early 19th century Buffet from the Provence region of France. Soundly constructed from painted wood with 3 doors, molded door panels resting on block feet. There are charming inscriptions carved of the top surface from a later period – 1907 and 1911. The top no longer lifts. Terrific patina.
